Exposing the mat to UV light will change the colour and lighten it, as this mat is eco-designed and has not been dyed, which does not fix the colour.
After 2 weeks of UV exposure when unfolded, the mat takes on its final colour.

Do you know our raw beige colour? This means our mat has not been dyed. The beige is the natural colour: surprising, don't you think?

What is the right size and thickness for your mat?

Because a comfortable mat only adds to your motivation, we suggest paying close attention when choosing the thickness of your mat. If you're doing a gentle activity in bare feet, opt for a mat that is at least 10 mm thick, with a soft, spongy texture. If you're doing dynamic strength training exercises, 7 mm is thick enough. The length is also important. For example, for Pilates or strength training, opt for a mat that is at least as long as you are tall.

PILATES OR YOGA MAT? WHICH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

In Pilates, the most important thing is comfort - in other words, mat thickness is key: you need to have padding between you and the floor.
In yoga, you need a mat that grips the floor so it (and you) won't slip when changing positions.

A FEW NOTES

You may notice a strong odour when you first begin using your mat. Don't worry - it is not toxic and will fade with time.
