Why organic cotton?
Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemicals. Organic farming methods have been specifically designed to reduce the impact on the environment. It helps preserve biodiversity and soil fertility, and reduces the risk of polluting groundwater tables.
For the mottled colours, we take our eco-design even further: the leggings are made from 70% organic cotton and 30% recycled cotton
What is prenatal yoga?
Prenatal yoga focuses on physical poses and breathing techniques that help pregnant women before, during and after giving birth. Teachers provide pregnant yogis with various props to help them comfortably practise and improve their strength and flexibility to better prepare them for giving birth.
The benefits of prenatal yoga:
There are several! Increases muscle strength, endurance and flexibility for giving birth. Improves sleep. Relieves lower back pain. Reduces stress and anxiety. Improves concentration. In short, practising yoga when pregnant is a great idea!
A rating to compare the environmental impact of products
A product's environmental impact is calculated for its entire life cycle using various indicators.
An "ABCDE" rating system has been created to help you quickly see which products offer the best environmental performance. Use it to compare two similar products (T-shirts, bottoms, backpacks).
Decathlon actively promotes this visible environmental rating policy.
