TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

WHAT ARE SWIM FINS FOR?

A fin is a piece of swimming training equipment to work the lower body. You can simultaneously work on your heart rate and muscle building on the thighs, glutes and calves as well as core stability.

FIN LENGTH

LONG BLADE: - 30/31: 32 cm - 32/33: 36 cm - 34/35: 36 cm - 36/37: 40 cm - 38/39: 40 cm - 40/41: 44 cm - 42/43: 44 cm - 44/45: 48 cm - 46/47: 48 cm "Long blade" fins will ensure more physical effort and a more sweeping kick and maintain greater muscular exertion.

STIFFNESS

SEMI RIGID FINS Stiffness is characterised by the density of matter, so the more rigid a blade is, the greater muscular exertion will be, the softer a blade is, the more efficient and sweeping the kick will be. It is the resistance of the blade that will generate the type of exercise desired (cardiovascular or muscle workout).

FOOT POCKET

FULL FOOT FINS The foot pocket of a fin holds the foot in place when kicking (important for an efficient kick) so take the time to try on the fins before buying. There are 2 types of foot pockets: Closed and open, the closed fin keeps the foot in its natural position.
