How is the usage temperature measured?
All our gloves are lab-tested on a thermal hand.
The temperature ratings are valid when walking and wearing suitable clothing. When physically active, the body produces heat. This is preserved thanks to the thermal insulation of the outfit. If it is unsuitable, the body cools.
The recommended and limit temperatures were evaluated by 23 testers for temperatures from 5°C to -20°C and a wind of 10 km/h.
The Trek 100 gloves have a warmth rating of 2 out of 5.
