Why use kettlebells for your workouts?
Working several muscle groups simultaneously with this kettlebell makes it an ideal choice for an effective, all-round workout.
What's more, it offers a wide variety of exercises and combinations, so you can tailor your workout to your specific goals. Whether for muscle strengthening, weight loss, improving endurance or athletic performance, the kettlebell is suitable for all levels and all needs.
Why does the kettlebell have a rubber base?
Thanks to its rubber coating, the kettlebell can absorb shocks and prevent scratches on your floors. It's the ideal solution for quality training without the risk of damaging your floor surfaces.
Be careful when dropping kettlebells
We recommend that you use the 8 kg kettlebell with the rubber mat (part no. 8651539) so that it can be laid down safely, without risk of damage.
Storing your kettlebell
"Underneath the rubber layer is cast iron, which can be damaged by humidity. It is therefore preferable to store the kettlebell indoors and in a dry place, on a rubber mat (part no. 8651539), to avoid damaging your floor.
To maintain your kettlebell, you can use a damp cloth or microfibre cloth."
Recommended exercises from Decathlon Coach

Our coach invites you to take part in a "weight training" circuit (1/2)
Perform 3 to 6 swings with 1 to 2 minutes recovery time at the end of each swing:
- Goblet squat: 8-15 reps
- Burpees: 8-15 reps
- Kettlebell swing: 8-15 reps
- Dumbbell thruster: 8-15 reps
Coach's advice for improving your workouts (2/2)
For each exercise, start with the lowest number of reps (ensure that you don't go until failure, and leave a margin of 2 reps compared to your maximum), then increase by one rep per week until you reach the higher number in the recommended range. You can then increase your weight.
For a greater challenge, you can build running in between your rounds, or reduce (or even remove) your recovery time.
